ABOUT ME

Originally from Mexico City and classically trained at the San Lorenzo workshop, after thirty years living in Quintana Roo, Gabriela has made this land her own: its jungle, its sand, its sea, all found on her palette. Throughout her career, her brush has been a faithful ally, forging her style, consecrating that unique voice that an artist captures on canvas, becoming something unrepeatable and unique.
Through her work, she transports us to a place where nature passes through her palette.
There, it is synthesized and filtered, leaving us with only its essence, which moves across this ephemeral border between the abstract and the natural. Gabriela Márquez's brushes have captured the very spirit of Quintana Roo, that land where the sea and the sky merge in an eternal embrace of blues that dance with the will of the wind. Her images invite the observer to connect their soul with the soul of what the artist captures.
